You will need to have proven experience with the day-to-day operational management of civil sites.As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. This role requires strong people management skills and the ability to drive productivity, safety, and efficiency across the project stages.Key responsibilities include:Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead and oversee the delivery of projects, including subdivisions and earthworks. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.Team Management: Manage and lead Foremen, Supervisors, and Subcontractors to ensure maximum productivity, quality, and safety on-site. Provide guidance, leadership, and support to the team.Programming & Planning: Utilise your expertise in programming and planning to manage the project timeline, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.Health & Safety Management: Drive and promote a culture of safety on site.Contract & Project Management: Oversee contracts, have a strong understanding of NZS3910.Key skills and experience:To be successful in this role you will be highly motivated, with proven experience in managing / overseeing projects and people, specifically in subdivisions and earthworks.Experience: 3+ years' experience in a similar role or as a Site Supervisor looking to take the next step.Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and leading teams, including Foremen, Supervisors, and Subcontractors.
