Description The Opportunity
Are you ready to step into a key leadership role in the Central North Island? We're looking for an experienced and motivated leader to oversee the operational management of our central north island farms and contribute to delivering the farm assurance and performance programmes across the wider group.
You will also have two farm managers reporting to you, working together to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while driving our strategic priorities.
This role is about more than just operations; it's about driving innovation, finding new ways to improve farm performance, and delivering strong profitability while maintaining our commitment to sustainability. It's a perfect mix of hands-on leadership, strategic planning, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading day-to-day farm operations while managing budgets and business plans.
Delivering on the business plan for your farms and bringing our company strategy to life.
Supporting and mentoring farm managers to create a positive and high-performing team environment.
Being a role model for Pamu's values and ensuring Health and Safety is always a top priority.
Providing technical advice and guidance to help our farms achieve their goals.
Together with the other Operations Manager CNI, you will provide operations support for the wider Pamu group.
You'll need to be based in the Central North Island for this role, ideally in the Taupo region. If you are out of the area, we can chat about relocation support for the successful candidate.
About You You'll bring a strong understanding of farming operations and leadership experience, including:

Financial Know-How: You're comfortable setting and managing budgets to hit financial targets.

Health and Safety Focus: You lead by example when it comes to Health and Safety on the farm.
