An exciting opportunity exists for an Operations Manager to be based in the Central North Island. Our central Island branches are in Taupo, Rotorua, Tauranga and Gisborne - there is some flexibility with regards to the location of this role for the right candidate. This role reports into the National Aftersales Manager. The role: You will be responsible for all aspects of the service and parts teams in the Taupo, Rotorua, Tauranga and Gisborne regions requiring travel. The key focus of this role is to lead and drive operational performance in line with customer expectations and organisational objectives, ensuring that customer experience and our people are at the centre of all decision making. Responsibilities include: To achieve seamless reinforcement of sales activity through an absolute commitment to after sales customer service and standards of performance. Actively promote and maintain TDX's commitment to continually improve Health and Safety performance. Caring for our people will be at the top of your priority list. Hands-on leadership which promotes effective performance and development of all team members. Develop and promote a culture that facilitates teamwork, trust and open communication. Motivate staff to provide the highest level of service and work in a team environment. Ensure that regular follow ups/reviews are held with key customers and any opportunities for improvement are actioned. Manage the regions operational and capital budgets and report on variances. Manage the credit process in line with the company policies and levels of authority. Take responsibility for the achievement of the after sales budgets for the region. Ensure that information flows within the regional group and to key internal stakeholders are accurate and timely. We are ideally looking for: An experienced operational leader, with experience of working at a multi-site and/or regional level, preferably within our industry. Demonstrated commercial, strategic and analytical thinking capabilities. Ability to visibly lead a team to drive a culture of strong performance, that's a fun place to work. An ability to engage & inspire staff. An ability to drive change & innovation. The ability to implement and manage process. Strong business & financial acumen. Network and relationship management. A passion for performance excellence. Customer focused. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
