You will be responsible for working with the Regional Manager in the leadership, management and effective delivery of roadmarking activities across the Auckland and Northern regions. You will be accountable for operational effectiveness ensuring optimal performance of people and plant.Key responsibilities will include:Contribute to the profitable growth of the Roadmarking business through the development and implementation of agreed plans.Build and manage relationships with the wider team, contractors and customers to achieve best outcomes for Downer and our customers.Ensure sound Zero Harm, financial and business practices are applied to all operations consistent with company policy and business systems.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join an established and driven team; however, we are open to individuals who have the leadership and strategic planning capability to join us within an Operations Lead capacity with plenty of growth potential.Nga pukenga matua | Important SkillsWith substantial project and people management experience, and a firm foundation in Roadmarking works, you will have the knowledge and confidence to tackle this role. A collaborative approach to working within and across multi-functional teams from different parts of the business is a key requirement as well as strong leadership skills.
