The Water Services Authority - Taumata Arowai is the water services regulator for Aotearoa New Zealand. It is a Crown entity governed by a Minister-appointed Board and advised on Maori interests and knowledge by Te Puna, a statutory Maori Advisory Group. Our responsibilities are to protect and promote drinking water safety and related public health outcomes - we regulate drinking water suppliers on behalf of the public. We also have an oversight role in relation to the environmental performance of drinking water, wastewater and stormwater networks.

Our small team of three Operations Coordinators hold a deep understanding of the Operations Group's systems and processes and are critical in supporting the group's work programme.
As an Operations Coordinator you will:
Coordinate with and provide assistance to the Team Leader Operations Coordination to maintain system processes and data integrity.
Support the maintenance and enhancement of Hinekorako (self-service portal and regulatory and intelligence platform).
Support work to undertake a continuous improvement approach to both the regulatory system and its processes and procedures.
Coordinate and deliver internal training on Hinekorako.

We are looking for someone who has:
A certification in a business process mapping/management methodology or a similar tertiary qualification.
Experience supporting frontline delivery teams.
Knowledge of regulatory system design and application.
The ability to connect and work with geographically dispersed teams.
The ability to coach and mentor others on the application of systems and processes.
