As they continue to expand, they offer a vibrant work environment that fosters collaboration and nurtures innovation.Key Responsibilities:Leading, developing, and championing the delivery, safety, reliability, and ongoing improvement of the SCADA and protection systems within ACE Energy.Managing a highly reliable SCADA/EMS which provides 5 nines availability.Delivering a SCADA/EMS with our D&C partner which meets the ongoing need of the Network Operator to discharge their responsibility of operating the network in a safe, secure, and reliable fashion.Provision of highly capable technical support to the control room around all protection and operational technology to allow safe, secure, and reliable operations of the network.Maintain technical currency of the SCADA/EMS and a governance framework.Supervise specialist technical teams.Allocate appropriate resources to programs and projects and ensure the performance of project staff meets expectations and is appropriately measured and accountable for outcomes.Maintain financial control and accountability throughout the program and project delivery lifecycle.Manage vendor and contract relationships and conduct technical reviews of key documentation provided by vendors, suppliers, and technical solution providers.Maintain accurate network connectivity model structure and data as the single true reference for access by all users in real time.Develop analytic tools for optimal dynamic operational decisions for both normal and contingency conditions.About You:Experience working in a TNSP or DNSP on protection and controls systems is essential as is your ability to be able to design, implement and manage them. Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering are expected as is experience in the specification, design, implementation, and management of a SCADA/EMS.
