Southern Cross Healthcare is seeking an Operational Specialist to join their team in Auckland, New Zealand. The Brightside Hospital team is looking for a self-motivated Facilities Manager responsible for the day-to-day building management of the hospital. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work with the team in the national support office on capital requirements, requests, and the delivery of upgrades or replacements. They must also ensure a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors. For this position, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Facilities Manager. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $115,000 per year. Responsibilities for Operational Specialist: Manage all proactive and reactive repairs within the maintenance department. Manage all contractor maintenance programs, including management, delivery, performance, compliance, and budgeting for all building-related services. Ensure building compliance with local authority regulations in New Zealand. Demonstrate the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Provide quality care to the patients within the hospital. Qualifications for Operational Specialist: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Operational Specialist. Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS). Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or Business Administration. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families. Familiarity with building compliance and local authority regulations.
