The role is based at our client mine site, engaging in direct customer service and Rock tools (ROTO) operational activities in Macraes, New Zealand.
Comprehensive training will be provided to set you up for success, with potential career opportunities for promotion to higher operations levels or roles in sales, service, supervisory, or management positions.This role is 8 days on, 6 days off, day shifts only.
We prefer candidates to be based in or around the Dunedin area, but we can be flexible with location depending on the successful candidate.Areas of responsibilityManaging drilling consumables inventories to underground drill sitesUndertaking daily deliveries (a valid driver's licence is required - Manual) and stock replenishment to sitesAnalysing and reporting on drilling consumable performance, condition, and failuresPositively engaging with our client's mining operatorsSorting, gauging, reconditioning, and coding drill bitsMinor repairs and reconditioning of drill rodsTimely data entry and record keepingYour profilePolice Clearance upon applicationAbility to safely lift a minimum of 40kgsFitness / Capacity for work assessment (employment medicals arranged by Sandvik required), including a Drug & Alcohol testHigh customer focus and positive service orientationAble to perform independently and in teamsAdaptable and resilientAgencies need not apply.You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this job.What we offerJoin us for an exciting career with endless opportunities!
