This is a rare opportunity to lead Habitat's BRAND-NEW op shop in Mount Maunganui! We're seeking a high energy, confident, and creative person to bring this store to life. You'll know the local community well and can use your connections to attract customers and donations.
With a to-die-for industrial space currently under refit, we need you on board with the dream of making this the coolest op shop in the southern hemisphere. You'll live and breathe the mount vibe, bring a fresh aesthetic, be Insta-savvy, and know how to deliver great customer service - all while leading an awesome team of staff and volunteers. No two days are the same at ReStore, so flexibility and the willingness to dig in and deal with any job that needs doing is vital. The ReStore operates seven days and weekend work may be required. This role is for 30 hours per week (we can discuss options for the manager's times and days at interview). Rate of pay is $29.50 per hour, KiwiSaver inclusive.
Preferred skills: Retail or operations team leadership. Tech savvy - use of POS software, Microsoft, Salesforce, TradeMe and other apps is part of a ReStore managers daily role.
