Op Shop Assistant Manager – Full time (30 hours) The Role – Assistant Manager - Habitat for Humanity, Mount Maunganui
Use your retail experience for good – raising funds for Habitat for Humanity as we work towards a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
We have an exciting opportunity to support the store manager in leading Habitat's BRAND-NEW charity store in Mount Maunganui!
You'll put your retail and customer service skills to use, keeping the store looking great, assisting with leading an awesome team of staff and volunteers, and supporting the manager with opening, closing, and other tasks as required. You'll take the lead in the manager's absence, keeping the store running smoothly.
You'll bring energy and empathy to the role and be able to get on with people from all backgrounds, creating a rapport with customers, volunteers, and donors alike. You've got an eye for knowing what needs to get done, and you're not afraid to dig in and help out wherever it's needed – from the front counter to inwards goods and everywhere in between.
The ReStore operates seven days and weekend work may be required. This role is for 30 hours per week. Pay rate is $28.00 per hour, KiwiSaver inclusive.
Preferred skills:
Tech savvy - POS software, Microsoft, Salesforce, TradeMe and other apps.
Full NZ Driver Licence (manual preferred)
Good physical fitness and strength for lifting donated goods
Test and tag qualification preferred, but not essential
