About the role
Monday & Tuesday 8.45am - 5.15pm
SPCA Op Shop Invercargill Windsor
Your enthusiasm and dedication will see you:
Leading and training the team of volunteers on your shifts.
Achieving sales budgets to fundraise for animal welfare.
Providing exceptional customer service.
Processing incoming donated goods - sorting and pricing.
Visual merchandising of fashion and homewares to maximise revenue.
Undertaking daily cash up and banking.
Maintaining the Health and Safety of the shop.
What we need from you:
Have retail experience; second-hand retail experience would be an advantage, however not essential.
Possess excellent communication and customer service skills, be solutions-focused with a friendly and positive can-do attitude.
Have people leadership experience, ideally within the not-for-profit sector with volunteers.
Be a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard.
Demonstrate empathy and resilience.
Have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise and effectively manage workloads.
Possess strong administration, computer skills, and merchandising experience.
