You will be responsible for managing our social media platforms, creating engaging content, and building relationships with our audience. This part-time, entry-level position is perfect for someone passionate about social media, marketing, and community engagement and who thrives in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:Content Creation & Strategy:Develop and implement a content calendar to guide social media activities.Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, images, video) tailored to our audience across all social media platforms.Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment in messaging and branding.Social Media Management:Manage and oversee all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. ).Monitor social media interactions, respond to comments, and engage with followers to build community and brand loyalty.Analyze metrics to evaluate the success of social media campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary.Research & Trend Analysis:Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.Research competitor strategies to enhance SpartanNash's social media standing.Use insights gained from analytics to inform future content decisions.Collaboration & Project Management:Work closely with the marketing team to coordinate social media activities with broader marketing campaigns and events.Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new content ideas.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Brand Advocacy:Act as a positive brand ambassador through all social media interactions.Respond to inquiries and comments promptly and professionally, maintaining a consistent brand voice.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred, but not mandatory.Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience managing social media platforms, preferably in a brand or organizational context.Skills: Proficient in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail and ability to adapt content for various audiences. Basic understanding of social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar) and metrics to track engagement and growth.Personality Traits: Passionate about social media and digital engagement. Resourceful and proactive in problem-solving.Soft Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
