In the role of Online Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring the timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

**Key Responsibilities:** - **Customer Account Management:** - Maintain and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Develop and implement follow-up strategies for outstanding accounts; contact clients as needed.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries regarding account statuses and payment issues.
- **Invoicing:** - Prepare, issue, and manage the distribution of invoices accurately and promptly.
- Ensure that all invoices are compliant with the company's standards and customer requirements.
- **Collections:** - Conduct regular reviews of aged receivables, identifying potential collection issues and reporting them to management.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to facilitate smooth communication with clients regarding payments.
- **Financial Reporting:** - Generate reports and update ledgers concerning accounts receivable, providing insights into cash flow and potential overdue accounts.
- Assist with month-end closings and reconciliations related to accounts receivable.
- **Administrative Support:** - Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions, customer communications, and account statuses.
- Support overall finance team functions, including special projects and other tasks as assigned.
- **Compliance:** - Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal regulations regarding financial transactions.
- Stay informed of industry best practices regarding accounts receivable and apply them to optimize processes.
**Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or finance roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and team members.
