**Job Description:**

Disney is seeking a dedicated and proactive **Online Accounts Receivable Associate** to join our dynamic team in Dunedin, Otago. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is passionate about financial management within a whimsical, creative environment. As part of our Accounts Receivable team, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations and fostering beneficial relationships with our partners and customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Invoice Creation and Management:** Generate, review, and distribute invoices for various online services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our standards.
- **Payment Processing:** Monitor incoming payments and apply to appropriate accounts, maintaining accurate financial records and up-to-date reconciliations.
- **Customer Communication:** Serve as the primary contact for accounts receivable inquiries, addressing customer questions and concerns regarding billing issues in a timely and professional manner.
- **Collections:** Conduct follow-up on overdue accounts, employing strategic planning and problem-solving skills to ensure timely collections while maintaining positive relationships with clients.
- **Record Keeping:** Maintain detailed and organized records of transactions, payments, and credits, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
- **Reporting:** Assist in preparing reports on accounts receivable metrics for management review, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the finance and sales teams to resolve discrepancies and issues, providing insights and recommendations for process enhancements.
- **Account Reconciliation:** Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies efficiently.
- **Project Support:** Participate in financial projects as required, providing input and contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance the overall effectiveness of accounts receivable operations.

**Requirements:**

- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience may be substituted.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable or financial administration role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- **Personality Traits:** Must be reliable and resourceful, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability in their work.
- **Soft Skills:** Excellent strategic planning and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- **Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
