Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleThis position involves working with consumer groups and the community and is focused on assisting individuals and their families/whanau to deal with the psychosocial impacts of a cancer diagnosis and treatment.About the Team/Service/LocationWe work collaboratively with the Regional cancer service and other cancer psychologists and social workers to coordinate assessments and services for those dealing with a cancer diagnosis.About YouHold a bachelor's degree in social work, Board and registration with SWRB, and a current APC.Recognised by and registered with the New Zealand Social Work Registration.Current APC.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori, or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
