We're friendly and welcoming, and the pride of being a part of our Fullers360 team radiates through our people and shows in their enthusiasm for everything they do!About the roleOur Onboard Services Crew role is the entry level position onto our vessels and reports into the Crew Development Manager. In this role you will showcase your hospitality skills behind our onboard café and provide a very high standard of customer service to both tourists and our regular commuters, whilst also participating in marine drills and learning invaluable skills which can only take your career further on board.Alongside providing top notch customer service and hospitality (Barista and Bar) skills, some of your other typical duties will include:Promoting our products and providing accurate information on our servicesEnsuring the vessel is ready for boarding by cleaning all areas and restocking productsDemonstrating a commitment to health and safety measures onboard.Fullers360 are committed to growth and development, our in-house training programme encompasses all levels of marine qualifications along with skills and courses that are targeted at providing a high level of competency across our crews. No marine experience is necessary, however a passion for the marine industry and growing your career in this industry is highly desirable.Due to the nature of the role you need to be over the age of 18 (working with alcohol) and as some shifts fall outside of public transport hours (early starts / late finishes); you'll ideally need to be CBD based, within cycling distance or hold a full drivers license and your own transport.About our hours of workRotating roster (no set pattern - usually 5 days on and 2 days off) including public holidays and weekends120 hours over a 3-week period, average of 40 hours per weekShifts fall between the hours of 4.30am - 2am (morning, afternoon and night shifts)Morning shifts start between 4.30am - 8.30am and night shifts finish between 10pm - 2amAbout youMust hold a full class 1 drivers licence or live within walking distance of the Auckland CBD ferry terminalAvailable to work across a rotating roster with no set patternYou are driven to grow your career within the maritime industry in our marine crewYou'll be passionate about customers and their experience on board our vesselsYou'll hold a good level of maturity with the ability to work under pressure, autonomously and as part of a teamPunctuality, an outstanding attendance record and a very high standard of appearance are key for successAbout our benefits and perks (T&C's apply)Hourly rate of $26.61, which increases times 1.75 ($46.57) for time worked past midnightFree ferry travel for work and leisure for our full time permanent employeesFree hot beverages before, during or immediately after a shift/work hours and 50% discount on all other café itemsFor leisure (off duty/non-work related) all café purchases have a 50% discountFree annual flu shots and EAP (employee assistance program)Free period products for our staff and customersAccess to subsidised CBD parking if you're commuting from Auckland city (Princes Wharf at $30 per week)Access to discounted gym memberships (Auckland Council & Les Mills) and discounted healthcare (Southern Cross)Discount at SpecSavers for employees and their family*Candidates must have the right to work in NZ and be over age of 18 to be considered for this role.Please note: Any information you provide will be used to evaluate your suitability to this position.
