This company is at the forefront of providing cutting-edge maintenance, installation, air conditioning, electrical services, and top-notch after-sales support. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a skilled On Farm Service Technician to make a significant impact. You will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of milk cooling and tank solutions on farms. Your role will also involve providing support for dairy automation installations and contractor technical training. Your primary goal will be to exceed customer expectations and contribute to revenue and market share growth.Key Responsibilities:On-Farm Service Delivery:Install, validate, and commission equipment.Troubleshoot, service, and repair on-site.Provide customer training and ensure satisfaction.Problem Solving:Address and resolve field issues.Recommend improvements to management.Training:Contribute to developing documentation and training materials.Enhance installation practices and standards.Contractor Relationships:Maintain regular communication with contractors.Assist with technical support and ensure service quality.Events:Provide technical support at key events, such as Field Days and conferences.Reporting:Update CRM with customer information.Complete administrative tasks and submit performance reports.Health and Safety:Adhere to Health & Safety policies.Actively manage and report on safety practices.Qualifications & Skills:Refrigeration or Engineering Trade Certification and current Electrical Service Technician registration (or ability to obtain provisional registration).Minimum of 2 years of service experience in the agricultural sector.Strong fault-finding, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.Deep understanding of mechanical assembly and fitting.Proficient with computers.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.If you are ready to become part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to innovation and customer satisfaction, a role where you will be given the opportunity to work in a role that combines technical expertise with customer interaction, apply online today!
