Job Description: Staples, a leading office supplies retailer in Dunedin, Otago, NZ, is seeking a part-time Office Manager to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience who are confident, hardworking, and possess strong leadership and emotional intelligence skills. Responsibilities: - Manage office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency - Oversee and coordinate administrative staff and their duties - Develop and maintain office policies and procedures - Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed - Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for employees - Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenses - Handle confidential information with discretion - Resolve office-related issues and conflicts - Coordinate and plan office events and meetings - Provide administrative support to senior management as needed Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in office management or related field - Confident and hardworking personality traits - Strong leadership and emotional intelligence skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred Benefits: - Profit sharing opportunities - Travel opportunities - Company transportation for official business Working Environment: At Staples, we strive for excellence and uphold high standards in all endeavors.
