Office Manager Position Available at Smart Environmental We are looking for a talented Office Manager/Administrator looking for an exciting new opportunity! Look no further! Smart Environmental, a 100% New Zealand-owned waste and recycling company, is seeking a new member to join our team in Rotorua. About Smart Environmental We are dedicated to creating a unique and proud Kiwi enterprise that people can invest in. We operate across New Zealand with a 500-strong workforce dedicated to reducing waste in landfills. About the role We are looking for someone to help manage our Rotorua office with all the administrative duties, including claims and customer service. This is a permanent part-time role where the hours of work are 25 hours per week and the days are Monday-Friday, which means you have the weekends free. We are a company that believes in the development and training of our employees. We don't expect you to know everything below, but if you have a can-do attitude and are ready to learn, our team is here to provide support and training. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Area Manager. Action business functions such as purchasing, banking, and processing monthly invoices among other business needs. Participate and help drive Health & Safety initiatives and processes. Support/monitor team processes and needs. Contribute to our team culture and help ensure our commitments are being met or exceeded. About You Proven administrative expertise is essential. Proficient in Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at managing stakeholder relationships. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good workplace initiative and ability to follow policies and procedures including documenting our compliance. Car parking available. We offer a salary that reflects your skills.
