We have an exciting opportunity for an Office Dispatcher to join our Christchurch Operations.As the Dispatcher you will be responsible for managing fleet resources effectively and planning customer freight for deliveries.

Working with the transport and operational staff you will:Effectively plan and manage Customer LCL volume for collections and deliveriesWork closely with the Transport and Operations team and communicate effectively with team members to ensure both internal and external customer expectations are metWork closely with the Floor Dispatcher to ensure fleet capabilities are optimised to meet all daily collection and delivery requirementsAssist in providing Operations with daily volume forecasts from Customer collections to ensure that Operations can effectively manage capacity planningMay be required to operate forklifts to assist in the loading and unloading of trucks to assist with deliveriesEffectively plan pallet de-hiresAssist Transport Manager with transport tasks as requiredYour Skills - o Pukenga2 - 4 years' experience in a relevant fieldKnowledge of Transport, Freight, Logistics industryTo hold your Full NZ Driver's License with classes 2, 4 or 5 also advantageousHold a current F and OSH endorsed forklift licenseUnderstanding of data analysis and interpretationIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft OfficeE-Road and On-Time knowledge advantageousEnsuring we do our part to preserve Aotearoa's environment, we are committed to stay on track with our carbon reduction goals for 2030.
