Office & Project Coordinator - Ministerial Resourcing - PermanentVaried and engaging team administration roleContribute to high performance at the heart of governmentJoin a dynamic and supportive team Located at Parliament $62,561 - $84,951The opportunity : Join our vibrant and high-performing team as an Office and Project Coordinator.In this role, you will play a pivotal part by providing consistent and reliable administrative support to the Manager of Ministerial Resourcing and the wider Ministerial Resourcing team.Additionally, you will assist in the delivery of small business group projects and initiatives. The Ministerial Resourcing team, as part of Department of Internal Affairs (DIA), ensures that Ministers' offices are suitably staffed with highly skilled professionals who provide crucial support to each Minister, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of their office.As the glue that helps keep this busy team together, you could expect to :Provide comprehensive PA support to the Manager of Ministerial Resourcing, including diary and inbox management, financial administration, and meeting coordinationOffer general administrative assistance to the broader team as requiredSupport the induction and training of new Ministerial staff, including scheduling training, facilitating desk and ICT set-ups, and managing necessary authorizationsAssist the Ministerial Resourcing team in managing key critical events, such as changes to the composition of the Executive or Cabinet ReshufflesContribute to the Ministerial Resourcing Teams work programme, culture and engagementEngage in the playful culture of a supportive team committed to the success of the Executive What skills or experience would I need to be successful?Previous experience in PA or team support roles within a professional and fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills, coupled with proven initiative and adaptabilityExcellent communication skills and political nous, with confidence in engaging at an executive levelAttention to detail with the ability to anticipate risks and consequences of decisions and commitmentsThe ability to work and problem solve at pace, role modelling positivity, maturity and resilienceAn interest in politics and an understanding of the public sector environment and government processes is desirable This is a permanent position with a salary band of $62,561 - $84,951 per annum.Starting salaries will be commensurate with relevant skills and experience, as well as internal parity.
