Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) Haemata is a whanau-based Maori consultancy company, based in Whakatane, and specialising in supporting the public and private sector in Maori education, Maori language development and organisational capability. Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for an Office and Events Administrator to join our team.We require a person with good written and oral language, who is service oriented, enjoys being part of a team and is prepared to go the extra mile. Key requirements includegreat customer service, strong administration skills and showing initiative.A significant part of the role is managing events including travel bookings and coordinating with participants, venues and hotels. You should have good digital literacy and be a competent user of Microsoft Office software.We would welcome an application from a mature, experienced and self-motivated person who shows initiative and can work unsupervised. An understanding of tikanga Maori and the ability to speak and/or write in te reo Maori would be an advantage. Salary is also negotiable based on capability and experience and hours may be negotiable.
