About the Role We are seeking an Office Administrator Trainee to join our Wanganui office. This is a full-time, entry-level position (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm) where you'll support the team by performing various office tasks, including answering phone calls, handling accounts payable, customer service, and data entry for our databases and websites.  
Ideal Candidate   We are looking for someone who is:  
- Eager to start a career in office administration  
- Detail-oriented with strong Microsoft Office skills  
- Experienced in Business Studies and Accounting principles (school-level)  
- Proactive, with a can-do attitude  
Qualifications & Experience   Must have these skills - Highly organized individual interested in a rewarding career with a manufacturing and distribution company  
- Excellent attention to detail  
- Strong communication skills  
- Motivated and capable of managing tasks independently  
- Open to school leavers or university students  
- Must be a New Zealand resident located near Wanganui  
These skills would be an advantage - Experience in accounts administration
- Experience in tele sales
- Experience in website maintenance
Key Responsibilities  - Perform detailed data entry  
- Answer telephone calls and assist with general administrative tasks  
- Process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts, and make payments  
- Process daily banking transactions  
- Handle customer queries via phone and email
- Assist with Marketing activities including outreach phone calls to prospective customers
