Office AdministratorLatitude Surveying Limited location Bay of Plenty.Latitude Surveying Limited is seeking an experienced and motivated Office Administrator to join our Tauranga-based team. This role is integral to the smooth running of our operations and offers a great opportunity to support a locally owned SME with over 20 years' of experience in surveying and land development in the Bay of Plenty.About the role: as our Office Administrator, you'll be the first point of contact for client enquiries and play a key role in supporting the Managing Director and the Surveying team. This part-time position offers an opportunity to bring your office administration and book-keeping skills to a small but dynamic team that values quality service.The part-time position requires approx. 48 hours a month on a variable work schedule of approx. 8 hours per week during the first two weeks of each month (usually 4 hours per day, 2 days per week) and 16 hours per week during the last two weeks of each month (usually 4 hours per day, 4 days per week). Additional hours may be required from time to time, by mutual agreement, depending on the needs of the business.Key Responsibilities:Office administration to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and Survey teams.Handle client enquiries, maintaining high standards of customer service.Undertake book-keeping, payroll administration and financial reporting.Assist with invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and month-end reconciliation.Health and Safety systems administration and reporting.Maintain office supplies and oversee equipment maintenance.Support the team with project and planning documentation, scheduling, and any other administrative tasks as required.What You'll Bring: we are looking for someone with a proven track record of trust and reliability and a strong foundation in office administration, payroll and book-keeping. Ideally, you'll be familiar with Xero, Abtrack, and Smartly. You will have great customer service, be a team player and have a willingness to learn and grow with our business.Essential Attributes, Skills and Experience:Proven experience (minimum of 2 years) in office administration, including book-keeping and payroll.Trustworthy and reliable.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Warm and friendly personality with customer service experience.A great team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Flexibility to adapt and support the changing needs of the business.Desirable Skills: familiar with Xero, Smartly and Abtrack systems.
