As a result, the business has grown, and we need an office superstar with a great attitude to join our small but growing team.We are recruiting for an Office Administrator for a minimum of 35 hours per week who will be responsible for assisting the Director and Office/ Parts Manager in ensuring all office activities are completed in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
You may currently be working for another marine company or related Trade Business and be looking for a new challenge.Responsibilities:Completing all Accounts Payable and Receivable tasks, entering supplier invoices, ideally having experience using XERO or a similar accounting platform.Using job scheduling software to record data for jobs.Having confident customer service skills and phone manner to be able to communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.Liaising effectively with the Office / Parts Manager and Director regarding ordering, job progress, accounts reporting and other general tasks.Review and check staff timesheets.
Set up payroll via Smartly Payroll software.Unpacking, checking, and processing inwards goods to ensure accuracy and quality.Preparing and sending packages for outwards goods, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch.Assist with the company social media profiles (Instagram and Facebook).Striving towards producing high quality work in appropriate time frames.Assisting with improving and implementing new office processes and systems.Assist with fleet management tasks, including booking vehicle services, managing registrations.Having fun and being proud of what you achieve in your working day.Being motivated and helping your team meet timelines and upholding the Diesel Marine professional standard.The right candidate will have competent computer skills, be a quick learner, have a great attitude and be willing to evolve with the role.
