Oem Kit Manufacturing / Warehouse Operative

Introduction: Growth in the business. Description: This role is all about ensuring a high-quality service in the OEM kits area is maintained while ensuring all kits are manufactured within time scales as agreed with customers. The role also includes but is not limited to service of customers both internally and externally. The tasks will include: Orders are picked, packed, and dispatched in line with required minimum standards. Answering the phone, taking, and keying orders. Keeping technician informed of product availability and order progress. Assist with the overall operations to ensure high levels of service are maintained. Operation of forklift truck. Stock replenishment of pick shelves. Manufacturing of hose assemblies within time scales as agreed with customers. Ensure high levels of customer service in the OEM kits area is maintained. Provide a quality hose & fittings service to one of our major customers. Ensure quality of work is maintained to the highest level. Arrange the delivery of completed work in liaison with the Customer Production Supervisor. Remedy any faulty work supplied to the customer immediately and initiate Non-Conformance action. Maintain workshop equipment and machinery in a serviceable condition. About the person: Manufacturing or assembly experience. Skilled in using a range of assembly tools including crimper. Physically fit, able to lift a minimum of 25kgs on a repetitive basis. Problem-solving skills. Ability to learn new technical skills. Medium level of PC skills. Skill at prioritising and managing rapidly changing workloads and deadlines. Ability to precisely carry out instructions. Ability to communicate instructions clearly and succinctly.
