Occupational Therapist | Wheelchair & Seating Specialist Employment Type: Flexible (minimum 30 hours per week for additional benefits)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with expertise in wheelchair and seating assessments to join a well-established team in Nelson. This team is known for its supportive and collaborative culture, with many members bringing over five years of dedicated service.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive wheelchair and seating assessments to enhance client mobility and independence.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans.
Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding equipment use and maintenance.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with professional standards.

About You
Qualifications: Registered Occupational Therapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in occupational therapy, with Level 2 competency in wheelchair and seating assessments or a strong desire to achieve this level.
Skills: Excellent communication, assessment and problem-solving abilities.
Attributes: Self-motivated, adaptable and passionate about improving client outcomes.
