About the position This post is for a fix term 1 year contract, full time Occupational Therapist to work across the inpatient and community team with opportunities for a rotational position.

We use an evidenced based approach in our assessments and interventions and we are quality driven. We work in an inter-disciplinary environment promoting independence, health and well-being for the people of our community. 
We are looking for someone (ideally with experience) to work across the orthopaedic, medical, paediatric, rehabilitation and surgical wards. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn about wheelchair and seating assessments, pressure care intervention, cognitive assessments and housing modification assessments. Successful applicants must be registered with the OT Board of New Zealand and hold a current practising certificate. They must also hold a current, clean and full driver's licence (ability to drive a manual is desirable but not essential)
