Salary Band – $76,442 - $107,000 p.a pro rata + Kiwisaver

Permanent, full time (1.0 FTE), 40 hours per week

Mo te turanga | About the role

Focus on occupational therapy assessment and intervention.

Develop knowledge and expertise in rehabilitation with a range of conditions including but not limited to orthopaedic, neurological and more general age related deconditioning.

Collaborate as part of an interprofessional team to plan and provide patient-centred rehabilitation.

Provide both inpatient and community Occupational Therapy services to the Waitaki Region.

This role is predominantly based on the inpatient ward but will also cover the community.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach towards learning.

High levels of motivation and passion for the Occupational Therapy profession.

Able to work autonomously with a practical and solution focus.

Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and hold a current APC.

Utu whanui | Salary range

This role belongs to the Allied, Public Health, Scientific, and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($74,842 p.a) and Step 8 ($107,000 p.a).
