These positions can be based in Hamilton, Te Awamutu, Cambridge, Morrinsville, Matamata and/or Rotorua, Tokoroa, Taupo. We are looking for dynamic, motivated, and experienced Occupational Therapists who are keen to make an exciting career move to join our large and dynamic multidisciplinary team, as either employee or contractor. We will consider new graduates for these roles.

Active+ Waikato provides a supportive and widely varied environment to grow and use your skills. You will be working within a large team of highly experienced, post graduate qualified Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Vocational Consultants, and others. Dependent on your skills and interests, your role will cover a wide-ranging caseload of vocational rehabilitation, serious injury, concussion, pain and/or assessment services and Corporate injury prevention work.
We offer an excellent remuneration package making this a highly desirable position for any Occupational Therapist looking to further their career yet maintain a work/life balance. The role is available as either a contractor or employee and significantly higher remuneration can be achieved in a contracting role. The roles are available either full-time or part-time (employee will be no less than 32 hours per week). An additional relocation allowance may be available for the right applicant.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit, a current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate, and a current NZ driver's license. Preference given for experience in ACC Contracts and/or Post-graduate qualifications in Vocational Rehab services, and/or a proven record of relevant professional development in this scope of work.
