Occupational Therapist Part-time - 0.6 FTE Permanent Position - Start date Monday 3rd February 2025 We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting students with complex needs to join our school. The successful applicant will be part of the therapy team that consists of dynamic and highly experienced Speech Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, working with high and very high ORS-funded students.
We are looking for someone who is collaborative, emotionally resilient and enjoys working with other professionals and support staff for the benefit of our students. Our students have diverse and unique needs. Our school is a vibrant, progressive environment with a focus on interprofessional collaborative practice. Your ability to work in a team environment will be paramount. Be a qualified Occupational TherapistHold a current practising certificate from the Occupational Therapy Board of New ZealandHave a valid driver's LicenceThe position is covered by the Kaiarahi i Te Reo, Therapists, ATSSD and Special Education Assistants Collective Agreement and salary is dependent on experience and level of qualification.
An occupational therapist experienced in working with a neurodivergent population is preferred. However, new graduates or therapists with an interest in this area are welcome to apply for this role.
