Come and be part of our skilled and friendly therapy team in our acute inpatient team. Working in partnership with whaiora, whanau, and the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will provide high quality, person-centred inpatient care. Problem solving and bringing creative solutions to complex discharge planning will keep you actively learning and engaged within the acute medical team. You will support and guide rotational Occupational Therapists and students and be actively involved in ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the acute medical and inpatient Allied Health team.
You will be part of a diverse and supportive wider team of acute and subacute Occupational Therapists. We value continued professional development, mentoring, supervision and on-going training. You will have access to regular in-service training, special interest working groups and learning opportunities to develop your clinical and leadership skills. We also have an Occupational Therapy Professional Lead to support your growth and promote the Occupational Therapy service throughout our hospital.
We are looking for an Experienced Occupational Therapist:
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, or equivalent.
New Zealand Registered Occupational Therapist with current annual practising certificate (APC).
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
Salary Range for this position is - $86,045 - $107,000 in accordance with Public, Allied and Technical Health Employee's Multi Employer Collective Agreement (MECA) Step 3 - Step 8 according to qualifications and relevant experience pro-rated for hours worked.
