Mo te turanga | About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available to work as an Occupational Therapist within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Lakes. Working largely with our recently established early supported discharge team and hospital-based integrated community services, this role also supports inpatient work (e.g., rehabilitation ward and older person) as required.
The position will support and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, working with allied assistants, nurses, and other allied staff members. The role is supported by the Occupational Therapy Team Lead and professional advisor, as well as the rest of a well-regarded, experienced and friendly team.
We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering a high standard of care and committed to patient wellbeing. The successful candidate will have:
Prior experience with the delivery of rehabilitation setting, along with safe community delivery of services, would be an advantage.
Evidence of active involvement in continuous improvement programs.
New Zealand Full driver's license.
MOH Accreditation in the following would be desirable, if not an expectation to aim towards:

Awhe utu | Salary range
$77, 087 - $107,600 based on relevant experience.
