We have fantastic opportunities for a Registered Nurse within our Active+ Waikato team in the Waikato and Lakes Districts. We are looking for dynamic, motivated, and experienced Nurse who is interested in rehabilitation and occupational health nursing, and is keen to make an exciting career move to join our large and dynamic multidisciplinary team, as an employee or contractor. The position covers the Waikato region and could be based in any town including (but not limited to) Hamilton, Te Awamutu, Cambridge, Morrinsville, Huntly, Te Kuiti, Rotorua, Taupo etc.

Active+ Waikato provides a supportive and widely varied environment to grow and use your skills. You will be working within a large team of highly experienced, post graduate qualified Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Voc Health Nurses, Psychologists, Vocational Consultants, and others. Dependent on your skills and interests, your role will cover a wide-ranging caseload of vocational rehabilitation, serious injury, concussion, pain and/or assessment services and Corporate injury prevention work.
We offer an excellent remuneration package making this a highly desirable position for any Registered Nurse looking to further their career yet maintain a work/life balance without having to work shift work. This role is available as either a contractor or employee and can be full-time or part-time (employee no less than 32 hours per week). An additional relocation allowance may be available for the right applicant.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit, a current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate, and a current NZ driver's license. Preference given for experience in ACC Contracts and/or Post-graduate qualifications in Vocational Rehab services, and/or a proven record of relevant professional development in this scope of work.
