Occupational Health Business Manager, Christchurch Our client has recently acquired a small occupational health business as part of their larger organization.
They require an experienced occupational health nurse with management experience, to lead the team into the next phase of growth.
Whilst the previous owner will remain in the business for the next 12 months, there is a plan in place to step out and hand over the reins.
That's where you come in!
With the lease signed for the modern new premises from end of October, the team will have a new environment, more space and capacity for growth.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for you to share your experience and grow the business!
Your role will be to: Transition the team from a small privately owned business into the larger parent organization which provides primary healthcare services.
Integrate new client management and IT systems.
Provide support and hands-on clinical backup to your staff.
Manage financial reporting.
Oversee current contracts.
Grow and develop the service, seeking out new contracts and business opportunities.
This is a lovely tight-knit team who have worked together for some time, so it is important to find someone who fits well with their team ethos and culture, who can be sensitive to their needs at this time of change.
You will need: NZ registration & experience as an Occupational Health Nurse (or be an RN willing to take Occ Health papers).
Previous NZ experience managing a similar service.
Knowledge of NZ health contract management & reporting.
Energy, drive, strong customer focus, empathy.
Brilliant interpersonal skills.
The ability to motivate and inspire, and take a team with you.
