We are recruiting 1.3FTE (0.5 Waitemata, 0.8 Auckland). This FTE provides expert guidance and support in occupational health and wellbeing service for two campuses: Te Toka Tumai Auckland and Waitemata. There is flexibility in how the FTE may be operationalised, which we look forward to discussing with you during the recruitment process.The purpose of these roles is to provide clinical advice and subject matter expertise to the occupational health and wellbeing team, Health and Safety Advisors, Managers, Kamiahi (employees) and Senior Leadership. There is a combination of patient facing and project work. You will join a team of Occupational & Environmental Physicians and Occupational Health Doctors around the motu (country) that work in partnership with the interdisciplinary Occupational Health and Wellbeing team and wider organisation.About youAs a vocationally registered medical practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand (or eligible for vocational registration with MCNZ), you bring a wealth of expertise to the role as an Occupational & Environmental Physician. With a minimum of five years experience in Occupational Medicine and a Fellowship in Occupational Medicine, you have cultivated a solid foundation in the field.We also invite applications from Medical Officers in Occupational Health:Doctors with extensive experience in Occupational Medicine that hold (or are working towards) a recognised Occupational Medicine DiplomaRegistrars on the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (RACP AFOEM) Training Program.Your demonstrated commitment to advancing your skills and knowledge in Occupational Medicine underscores your dedication to professional growth. This focus on continuous learning ensures that you remain at the forefront of best practice, equipping you to provide comprehensive care and guidance to individuals and organisations alike.
