The applicant must be eligible for medical registration in New Zealand.

We provide a high quality and equitable obstetric and gynaecology service for women accessing care through Waikato district facilitiesWe engage the registrars and Senior House Officers to learn in a collegial and supportive environmentEnsure an annual clinical audit plan is implemented to provide evidence of improvement and good patient outcomeReview and monitor progress through the use of key quality indicators/ performance indicators and take action to improve as neededReceive patient feedback - national inpatient survey, complaints, feedback cards, compliments and act on areas where improvement requiredSupport the strategic quality objectives within their area of responsibility About you Skills and experience you'll need to be considered for the role: Vocational registration in a Obstetrics and Gynaecology speciality Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand with scope of practice A practising certificate with the Medical Council of New Zealand Professional indemnity insurance Satisfactory check as per the Children's Act Experience in building and sustaining collaborative working relationships in a high-pressure environment to enable and deliver effective change management.Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to negotiate, resolve conflict and positively influence and motivate others Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
