Middlemore Hospital is the main hub for acute care and referral services within Counties Manukau District. It is an accredited teaching hospital of Auckland University and University of Otago and caters for most medical and surgical specialties with a catchment area of around 600,000 people.
Te whiwhinga mahi The Opportunity: Working across Middlemore Hospital and the Manukau Health Park in South Auckland, we are currently seeking applications for Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist positions to join our Women's Health Service.
We are looking for General Obstetricians and Gynaecologists with a predominant Obstetric interest who wish to join and work in the busiest maternity unit in New Zealand with diverse multi-ethnic and high need population.
The unit works with a large multi-specialty Obstetric medicine team and MFM team looking after 7000+ births per annum. We are happy to support applicants who wish to further develop their skills in Maternal medicine / Obstetric ultrasound / Diabetes in Pregnancy.
You will be participating in a 1:20 after-hours roster with a generous after-hours allowance in addition to the base salary. The roster includes an onsite night shift. The unit is accredited as a RANZCOG training site which adds to the enjoyment of working here with trainees across the continuum of their training.
