Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora - South Canterbury (Timaru Hospital) South Island - New Zealand
Obstetrician and Gynaecologist 1 FTE (Part or Full time Option)
Right now, we have a vacancy for an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (O&G) Specialist role, covering both gynaecology and secondary obstetric care to join the team at Timaru Hospital.
Located in the South Island of New Zealand, the district of South Canterbury is centrally located and an easy place to live and work, with instant access to an array of outdoor activities.
The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Timaru Hospital is looking for an O&G Specialist to join our passionate team of four. This is a genuinely rare opportunity to be part of a team striving to be recognised for the service they provide locally to the women of South Canterbury.
The team works from a redeveloped, well-resourced facility, where the on-call commitment is generally 1:4 during the week and weekends.
While all applications from qualified O&G Specialists are welcome, ideally the team would like to add to our service someone who has a significant level of clinical practice experience behind them.
