About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a Distribution Efficiency Planner to join our highly skilled and passionate Manufacturing Team.
Based at our Waikato site, you'll be a natural problem solver, methodical, and detail oriented.
DIFOTIS (Delivering ALL jobs in full, on time and in spec) will be your core purpose.
You will be a transport and logistics star with experience in this field.
In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously managing and coordinating delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient service.
Your daily tasks will include updating and combining delivery information, scheduling and allocating drivers, and aligning deliveries for site services.
You will also be in constant communication with customers, confirming delivery details and addressing any special requirements.
This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Plan all deliveries out of Waikato and BOP factories to ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in full by liaising with the factory management team.
Plan and implement loading plans to ensure product is loaded and available to be delivered at least one day prior to scheduled delivery.
Be the primary communication point for customers.
Maximise fleet movements to minimise unnecessary transportation movements with a focus on cost reduction and sustainability.
Fleet management in line with business requirements.
Track and monitor transportation schedules, delivery timelines, and inventory to ensure alignment with production and sales schedules.
Manage and optimise the end-to-end logistics process, including transportation and distribution of goods.
Analyse transportation and logistics costs, identify trends, and present recommendations for cost reduction and process optimisation.
Desired Skills/Experiences:
Excellent communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders.

Strong focus on attention to detail and a passion to follow process.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and coordinate multiple deliveries and schedules efficiently.
Ensure product and relevant site services suit the project needs.
Understanding of delivery processes, including loading requirements, crane lifts, and legal standards for transporting materials.
Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or a related field is highly desirable.
Experience in the aluminium window/door industry, building materials or a related industry within the residential construction sector would be advantageous but not required.
