Kia ora We are looking for some very special people to join the 2023 Coronet Peak / The Remarkables Snowsports team in Queenstown, New Zealand! Our key strategic focus and supporting initiatives are to deliver seamless and world-class guest experiences in Snowsports across both Queenstown mountains.
We are delighted to welcome applications from International and NZ / Aus experienced instructors, trainers, and performance coaches for our 2023 team.
Our operational season at The Remarkables and Coronet Peak is scheduled to be mid-June through early / mid October.
If you're an experienced Level 3 or 4 certified Instructor / Trainer / Coach, we're keen to hear from you! We have a relentless focus on delivering high value, high quality experiences in private and group lessons as well as multi-day programmes.
For experienced Examiners / Level 4s (or equivalent), we also have a suite of aspirational programmes in our Performance Academy.

As a member of our Queenstown Snowsports Whanau (CP / RE), you'll be: Joining an incredible international team of professional instructors, trainers, and coaches. Involved in group and private lessons, multi-day programmes, and performance workshops (relevant to your experience) with a consistent focus on delivering high value, high quality experiences. Progressing guests using NZSIA / SBINZ movement development guidelines. Adapting to an ever-changing environment; no day is ever the same in New Zealand! Flexible and adaptable to fit in with whatever is asked by the Leadership Team. Part of our wider mountain whanau, helping move guests through rentals, assisting with Snowsports check-ins on snow, answering queries for guests arriving at the mountain, and any off-snow operational duties as required. Driven and motivated towards continuous development of your skiing and riding, supporting and engaging in daily training opportunities. Appreciative of the fact that hours of work are subject to the weather, conditions, and business levels. Hours of work cannot be guaranteed; however, through our advanced scheduling and instructor management system, we endeavour to maximise your days. Skills and Qualifications A member of a national instructor organisation (NZSIA, PSIA, BASI, APSI, CSIA etc.) with a current active membership. ISIA or equivalent Level 3, 4, Trainer, or Examiner Level. We will accept applications from experienced Level 2 instructors who hold NZ Working Holiday Visas or already have the legal right to work in NZ. Previous instructing and coaching experience is essential, with 3 seasons of teaching or coaching experience as a minimum for consideration of employer-sponsored visas. Additional qualifications and experience outside your main sport / discipline qualification - Freestyle, Freeride, Race, Adaptive, Kids Cert, Alpine or Freeride athlete or coaching experience - is a huge advantage. Further Information All successful applicants will be required to be vetted by NZ Police (NZSki does this on your behalf).
