This is how we get the best of me with the best of we!To support our most important asset, YOU, we provide you with:Enviable team member discounts on our fabulous productsHolistic Wellbeing programs to support you to be your best self, including free and confidential Employee Assistance Program family members can tap intoWe don't do late night trade; this means work/life balance for you!Job DescriptionSupport the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store and lead the team to achieve sales targets.Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets through effective selling of merchandise in line with ESR policy.Demonstrate selling skills and consistently achieve performance targets.Ensure the Retail Sales team sells to the best of their ability to close sales and follow up on customer quotes.Promote exceptional customer service and build relationships with our customers as per ESR guidelines and Values in Action.Achieve a high Real Spark customer experience and engagement score on a frequent basis.Greet and acknowledge customers in a warm and friendly manner.Engage customers with open-ended questions.Handle customer concerns and complaints efficiently, appropriately, and in a timely manner to the customer's satisfaction.Coach and train team members while setting clear directions, goals, and expectations.Support the recruitment and retention of high-performing team members to align with ESR engagement and retention strategy.Work with staff to provide superlative customer service and meet sales targets within the wages budget.Participate in daily tasks and maintenance of the shop floor.Ensure customer invoices and associated procedures are completed in an orderly and timely manner.Maintain VM standards when stock is received into the store to minimize disruption and adhere to WHS guidelines.Execute banking procedures and daily balancing with regard to procedure and security.Ensure all team members are aware of evacuation and security procedures, and that monthly WHS checks are completed and the register is maintained.Maintain WHS requirements, instilling good housekeeping techniques, and alert the Store Manager and Regional Manager of potential risks/concerns.Desired Skills and ExperienceDemonstrated experience in:Sales with a high level of sales skills and the ability to meet and exceed performance targets.Leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.Exceptional customer service skills with a can-do approach.Effective communication skills with the ability to influence others.Able to engage and motivate teams to meet performance targets.Using initiative, being resourceful, and having the capacity to solve problems and provide solutions to customers.Exercising sound judgment regarding financial expenditure within agreed budgets.Ensuring all additional expenditure outside of budget is approved by the Area/Regional Manager.
