Mo tenei turanga mahi | About the role
The NZ Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing and communications for JLL NZ including campaigns, events, property marketing, creative services, content, social media strategy, business development collateral, PR and internal communications with the overall aim of improving business alignment, engagement and share of voice.
This role will have no direct reports but will be a custodial leader with accountability for the overall performance and engagement of the team.
Key responsibilities:
Creating the yearly Marketing and Communications strategy in collaboration with the Australian Marketing and Communications team, and the NZ business.
Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure communications campaigns receive endorsement and are aligned with business priorities.
Build on momentum created to supercharge demand generation and client engagement through localising global campaigns and delivering local initiatives.
Drive a 'digital first' strategy to improve overall platform maturity – focussed on SEM, SEO, performance, content trends, automation, segmentation etc., as well as ensuring business lines are educated in social media behaviour and engagement.
Lead the relationship with JLL NZ's PR agency to lift JLL NZ's brand presence and media coverage in the local regions and NZ-wide.
Respond to changing business priorities, balance effort and marketing mix across all channels including media, internal communications, events (from small boardroom style through to national roadshows), awards, content, website and social media.

As the main liaison for a variety of business stakeholders, their messaging and the business, the position requires a thorough understanding of commercial property and the ability to strategise and lead a matrixed team.
Experience creating and delivering marketing and communication strategies and budgets.
Client focused with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across different cultures.
Strong writing, editing, presentation and communications skills, but also analytical and creative.
Excellent organisational and project management skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Technical content production skills (video/photography shooting, editing) strongly preferred.
People management skills preferred.
Marketing or Communications degree (or related) and a minimum of 7 years communications, content and copywriting experience ideally in a professional services / B2B environment.
