We'll support you every step of the way as you join us in finding sustainable energy solutions to make a positive impact that will last for generations.GHD is on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic NZ Leader Renewable Energy to join and manage our team. This role currently sits in Auckland, Christchurch, and New Plymouth. You will be responsible for the performance of the group to achieve profit and growth objectives through effective leadership, development of senior talent through the implementation of the business plan for the Group.You will also be responsible to the NZ Leadership Team for the utilisation and project performance of their Group, achievement of revenue and growth targets, and approval and implementation of the business plan.The role:Securing and managing workload for the GroupEnsuring that the Group has the materials and resources necessary to deliver quality serviceDeveloping and agreeing job work packages, budgets, and progress with Project Managers and Project DirectorsManaging the allocation of people to projects in agreement with the Project Managers and Project DirectorsEnsuring that people within the Group receive clear instructions and leadership from Project Directors and Project ManagersEnsuring the technical soundness of work produced by the GroupBuilding effective relationships with other Group Leaders and with Market Leaders within the Region and Business Services (People, Finance, HSE, Quality, Marketing, IT, and other key personnel)Developing and mentoring people within the GroupEnsuring the safety of people within the GroupManaging and mitigating risks within the Group, including compliance with GHD's processes and standardsAbout you:A relevant university degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) with at least 15+ year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Ideally a Chartered EngineerFocus on client service, growth mindset, and ownership mentalitySolid people management skillsStrong technical backgroundUnderstand and adhere to GHD's values, Codes of Conduct, and PoliciesProactive, analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)A strong professional network within the region, self-motivated and energetic, with a bias to action.High attention to detail and tech-savvyClick 'Apply' to submit your CV or reach out to Zen Chua.
