GHD is on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic NZ Leader Renewable Energy to join and manage our team.
This role currently sits in Auckland, Christchurch, and New Plymouth.
You will be responsible for the performance of the group to achieve profit and growth objectives through effective leadership, development of senior talent, and the implementation of the business plan for the Group.
You will also be responsible to the NZ Leadership Team for: Utilisation and project performance of the Group Achievement of revenue and growth targets Approval and implementation of the business plan The Role Your responsibilities will include: Securing and managing workload for the Group Ensuring that the Group has the materials and resources necessary to deliver quality service Developing and agreeing job work packages, budgets, and progress with Project Managers and Project Directors Managing the allocation of people to projects in agreement with the Project Managers and Project Directors Ensuring clear instructions and leadership from Project Directors and Project Managers Ensuring the technical soundness of work produced by the Group Building effective relationships with other Group Leaders and with Market Leaders within the Region and Business Services (People, Finance, HSE, Quality, Marketing, IT, and other key personnel) Developing and mentoring people within the Group Ensuring the safety of people within the Group Managing and mitigating risks within the Group, including compliance with GHD's processes and standards About You A relevant university degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) with at least 15+ years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Ideally a Chartered Engineer.
