As a result, we have implemented internal promotions and created a number of brand new roles.The RolePlay a pivotal role in managing FMNZ's NZ Emissions Trading Scheme on behalf of their clients and make a significant contribution to the operational success of FMNZ. Your responsibilities will include growing, managing new, and retaining existing NZETS clients and facilitating administrative requirements associated with the ETS.Manage the sale and purchases of NZUs, Field Measurement Approach plotting programmes, and provide accurate updates and reporting to relevant stakeholders. You will collaborate with governmental agencies such as the Ministry of Primary Industries and the NZ Emission Unit Registry to ensure compliance with NZ emissions trading regulations. Grow the existing role by exceptional client relations and expanding our client base. Carbon modelling and forecasting as well as custom reporting as required.About youMinimum of two years ETS experience in client-facing positions.Experience operating with Tupu Ake and ETS systems.Passionate about maximizing the potential for forest owners in an environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable manner.Knowledge of relevant software and tools, such as carbon credit registries and data analysis software.Experience with NZ ETS Register, Carbon Trading Applications, Self-Certification, LINZ, NZU Security Deeds, Climate Change Notices, and client documentation.Exceptional eye for detail and commitment to data accuracy.Highly organized and resilient with the ability to manage your time to meet deadlines in a changing environment.Understanding of markets, developments, and legislation.Strong analytical, data management, and reporting skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.Liaise with clients, MPI, and NZETR.Excellent report writing and presentation skills.Highly skilled with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Knowledge of emissions trading schemes, carbon markets, and forestry carbon credit standards.Experience in forestry or environmental management and understanding of sustainable forest practices.Experience interpreting and understanding Sale & Purchase Agreements, deciphering clauses and obligations.On Offer:This is an important role at FMNZ, which you can develop and expand.
