Teaching - Tertiary (Education & Training)Full timeAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent, full time Nursing Lecturer teaching in our post graduate Nursing and Health science programmes. This position is located at either our EIT| Te Pukenga business division located in Napier or Gisborne, but must be available to regularly travel to our Hawke's Bay and Tairawhiti campuses for face to face workshop teaching and mentoring.This position reports to the Head of School, Nursing and will be responsible for:Teaching specific subjects in the postgraduate Nursing/Health Science programmesContributing to ongoing development of teaching and learning in the online platformParticipating in the ongoing curriculum development for the postgraduate Nursing/Health Science programmesContributing to the Faculty's research culture, research forums and research outputs.To be successful in this role you will have:Registered Nurse with a current Nursing Council of New Zealand annual practicing certificate, requiredWorked in NZ for 2+ years as a registered nurse, requiredMaster of Nursing (or equivalent postgraduate qualification), requiredRegistered Nurse Prescriber or Nurse Practitioner with a Nursing Council of NZ annual practicing certificate, desirablePhD or working towards a PhD, desirableA wide range and up-to-date nursing practice experiencesKnowledge of the Nursing Council of New Zealand requirements for the Registered Nurse Scope of PracticeSound knowledge and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi teachingAn understanding of Kawa Whakaruruhau and current approaches to cultural safety in the delivery of learningAs an inclusive and supportive employer, we value diversity and want to encourage anyone interested to apply, regardless of whether you tick all the boxes or not.We want to see the real you in your application, and welcome the real you on board if you come and work with us.
