Location: Nursing Home near WellingtonSalary: £75,000 per annum + potential KPI bonusPosition Type: Full-Time, Supernumerary Role with On-Call DutiesWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Care Home Manager to lead our clients well-established nursing home near Wellington. This is a fully supernumerary position with on-call duties shared with the Deputy Manager. This home provides exceptional care for up to 50+ residents, and we are looking for a leader who can continue to uphold their high standards and maintain their excellent reputation.Key Responsibilities:Overseeing day-to-day operations of the nursing home to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant care delivery.Leading and supporting a dedicated team of care staff and nurses to deliver high-quality care in line with CQC requirements.Ensuring that the home maintains its strong CQC rating and is compliant with all statutory regulations.Managing budgets, staffing levels, and resources to ensure financial stability and quality care.Promoting a caring, supportive environment for both residents and staff.Collaborating with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to meet residents' needs.Sharing on-call duties with the Deputy Manager, ensuring 24/7 coverage.Candidate Requirements:Nurse-Qualified Candidates: Must hold a valid NMC PIN with experience in managing a care home or nursing home.Non-Nurse Candidates: Must hold a NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent, with substantial experience managing within a nursing home setting.Proven Track Record: Candidates must have successfully managed a home of 45+ beds, with evidence of maintaining strong CQC compliance.What We Offer:Competitive salary of £75,000 per annum.Additional KPI bonus scheme based on performance.Opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a well-established home.Support for ongoing professional development.Work authorisation:United Kingdom (required).No Sponsorship offered.If you are interested in this role, please apply with your most up-to-date CV.
