Description We're looking for a Nursery Supply Officer to join our dedicated and friendly Planting Operations team. This new, permanent role has flexibility to work across the region in central Wellington, Upper Hutt, Kapiti or Masterton.
About the role:
As Nursery Supply Officer you will procure and facilitate all resources required for Greater Wellington's planting programmes, delivering exceptional quality, value for money and customer service.
You will develop robust and trusted relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers, demonstrating a genuine commitment to providing quality service and advice.
Skills and experience required:
Strong organisational skills to facilitate and co-ordinate procurement and supply of all project materials.
Experience in financial administration including invoicing, maintaining accurate records of payments and delivery of goods, inventory management and generating reports.
Confidence to work autonomously and collaboratively; maintaining relationships with team members and suppliers.
Horticultural experience and interest in native and exotic species a benefit but not essential.

The salary range for this position, inclusive of all benefits, is $73,893 to $110,839, with a midpoint of $92,366. Starting remuneration will depend on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
