Nursery Manager

Tiaki Maniototo is the project group of the Upper Taieri Wai catchment organisation, administering a Freshwater Improvement fund from the Ministry for the Environment. One objective of the project is to plant 90,000 natives by June 2026. To do this we have established a nursery allowing us to buy smaller plants and acclimatise them in our challenging environment.Qualifications & experienceA background of native plant nursery experience would be valuableMust be practical and able to problem solveNeed to be physically fit and motivatedLeadership skills and management experience are requiredGood communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to organise and plan work Tasks & responsibilitiesTraining, supervision and management of staffIdentifying problems and finding solutions Maintaining stock levelsDeveloping commercial opportunities Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
